Launching digital map: Portuguese communities in Canada (2011)
May 13, 2017
For the 64th anniversary of the arrival of the first group of Portuguese “bulk order” migrant workers on Pier 21, in Halifax, on May 13, 1953, we have created a digital map representing the current location of the largest Portuguese immigrant, ethnic, and speaking communities in Canada. You can find it here.

We hope that this map becomes a reference tool for anyone doing research, teaching about, or simply wanting to know more about the Portuguese in Canada.
