The official launch for our virtual exhibit was a great success! We at the PCHP graciously thank the Department of History at York University for its sponsorship of the event, the organizers of the Symposium on Portuguese-Canadian Immigrant Descendents for allowing us to launch our site at their event, the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections for their partnership in this venture, OMNI television for covering the launch, and all in attendance. We are humbled by the support and enthusiastic reception of our exhibits on Comunidade and Gilberto Prisote’s photographs.
