The PCHP is thrilled to announce the creation of the Greek Canadian History Project and their recent affiliation with the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections, York University Libraries. Much like the PCHP, the GCHP is a non-profit archival community outreach initiative that seeks to preserve immigrant histories in Canada, and is motivated by the same egalitarian principles of democratizing access to historical knowledge as we are. We are currently studying ways to support each others’ work and develop joint projects in the future.
The Portuguese Canadian History Project congratulate our colleagues Chris Grafos (PhD candidate, Dept. of History, York University), and Dr. Sakis Gekas (Dept. of History, York University) for starting this worthy project and wish them the best of luck in their endeavors.
